Sep 16, 2024
The annual Retail Food Protection Seminars, organized by the FDA’s Office of State Cooperative Programs, Division of Retail Food Protection, bring together a diverse group of professionals from regulatory agencies, academia, and the food industry. This year, the seminars were and will be held in:
- Chicago, Illinois – September 11-13, 2024
- Sacramento, California – September 25-27, 2024
- Jacksonville, Florida – October 22-25, 2024
- Burlington, Vermont – November 13-15, 2024
We also had a great time connecting with food safety specialists Francine Shaw and Matthew Regusci and joining them on their podcast. Francine, the CEO and Founder of Savvy Food Safety, and Matt, the Founder of Fostering Compliance, offer valuable insights into current food safety topics. If you haven’t subscribed yet, we highly recommend it for an accessible perspective from these two experts. Click here to listen to their podcast.
The Illinois Environmental Health Association (IEHA) co-hosted the FDA seminar. The IEHA is a key organization founded in 1950, and their mission is to promote environmental health practices across Illinois, benefiting nearly 13 million residents. Their members include professionals from governmental agencies, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and industry sectors. IEHA is dedicated to enhancing the skills and knowledge of environmental health professionals through continuous learning and the exchange of expertise. Their efforts are vital in protecting public health and improving community well-being. We are thrilled to have contributed to their mission and look forward to continuing our collaboration with the professionals and attendees we connected with at the conference!
