Iwaspoisoned.com Speaks at FDA Southeast Region Food Protection Seminar

Oct 18, 2017

Iwaspoisoned.com recently had the privilege of presenting at the Wilmington FDA Southeast Region Food Protection Seminar on October 17th, 2017, where we collaborated with Dr. Ben Chapman from North Carolina State University.

Our joint presentation was titled "Using Social Media to Detect Foodborne Illness Outbreaks". Dr. Chapman, an associate professor and food safety extension specialist at North Carolina State University, also manages two engaging and informative food safety initiatives called Food Safety Talk and Barf Blog. We highly recommend exploring these resources and following Dr. Chapman on Twitter for insightful updates here. For information on our future presentations and engagements, please click here.
